Where did we come from?
God called The Ark into being in 1994. We started as a small group, meeting in a hotel in Mijas, and then for a time in a rented room half way between Mijas and Fuengirola
It was whilst we were in Mijas that God told us that He wanted The Ark in the centre of Fuengirola, where we could reach into the community. To achieve this purpose, God told us we would have a Coffee Shop / Drop-in Centre and a Thrift Shop, and run various activities and outreaches
Thus started the voyage of discovery for The Ark, when, after much prayer, God directed us to our premises, right in the centre of Fuengirola. This was a miracle and fitted exactly the vision that God had given us
Where are we now?
God continues to direct The Ark, and has provided us with new premises for Sundays at The Ark Christian School. We still have some weekly meetings located in the centre of town. Check our locations page
God has brought The Ark through some trying times, and He has been faithful. He continues to do incredible and amazing things in The Ark. We are a family church that thrives to give God free rein to complete His kingdom business in us and along the coast
